Commander Eli Bowman’s journey began after the first Rikti Invasion when he joined the Freedom Corps. He initially served as a hero liaison before becoming a trainer in Kings Row. It was during this time that his exceptional skills in archery and command were recognized, leading to an offer for a position within the elite Longbow unit.
However, Bowman chose a different path. He declined the offer, instead proposing a new kind of special operations unit. He envisioned a team of sanctioned heroes within the Freedom Corps, a unit that would specialize in talents and skills not typical of Longbow’s soldiers. This team would operate in close coordination with other heroes rather than with Freedom Corps agents.
After his proposal was accepted, Bowman, along with four of his peers, founded The Star Patrol, a unit dedicated to cooperation and strategic coordination in the field.
