Older than the gods, Soul Eater is a primordial being of entropy born from the universe’s first, hungry silence. She is not a deity craving worship, but a cosmic process given form and a terrible, gnawing consciousness. Mortals know her only by the empty husks she leaves in her wake.
She hunts with her Soulless Legion—the reanimated bodies of those whose souls she has consumed. These husks are her hands in the mortal world, claiming vibrant souls for their mistress. She devours spirits not for power, but from a fundamental need. Each soul is a fleeting warmth against the eternal, gnawing void of her existence, a void that threatens to unmake her.
An engine of self-preservation, she is indifferent to the morality of heroes and villains. She will aid any side, good or evil, if the outcome yields a worthy harvest. Any alliance is a perilous, temporary pact of convenience, for her only loyalty is to the unending hunger that defines her. All that matters is that the banquet continues.
