On Praetorian Earth, Vera “Miss Quantum” Quinn was recruited by Powers Division shortly after she developed her original gauntlet. Though she was secretly a staunch supporter of the Resistance, Quinn went along with her new position of authority to act as a double agent by aiding the Resistance when she could, and betraying Powers Division at every opportunity.
Eventually Miss Quantum was called upon by the Resistance to travel to Primal Earth. She chose to become a hero and continue her efforts to protect the innocent. Her methods proved more brutal than was acceptable to Paragon City authorities, and she was soon labeled a vigilante.
Miss Quantum has used her scientific genius to develop a means of wielding relativistic energies to defeat super-powered menaces. Her Primal counterpart is Doc Quantum, a rogue with similar powers.
