The Fidelity is a mantle passed down since the 50s via an enchanted vinyl album, the Master Track. But in the 80s, the Master Track was shattered and its magic was thought lost forever. Decades later, a punk rock enthusiast named Cadence Wilde found the album, mysteriously whole again, while digging through obscure records in a dusty corner of a second-hand record shop. Driven by rebellious curiosity, she purchased and played it. The moment the music hit, its full power bonded with her and the record exploded into pieces once more.
Now, Cadence is the new Fidelity. She can channel the record’s perfect harmony with her voice and summon its shards as weapons. But this power carries a great risk: if the Master Track is ever made whole again, the magic will be ripped from her soul and vanish forever.
